Produced with a classic rifled barrel the CZ-USA 83 Pistol has a trigger mechanism of Double Action/Single Action.. The CZ-USA 83 Pistol features an ambidextrous manual safety, magazine catch and slide stop on one side. When the last cartridge of the CZ-USA 83 Pistol magazine has been fired, the slide is locked in its rear position.
